We found these vessels at the bottom of the Pacific, about 100 nautical miles from the northernmost part of the Mariana Trench. Several wooden chests, which appear to be from the late 1800s, held about fifty of these things. Despite being sealed for almost 150 years, the vessels kept the liquid inside of them cold. The design on the side of the vessels, expertly illustrated by our buddy Zach Styles (aka That Type Guy), tells the story of what our diving team went through to get them.
